The location was lovely. Very quiet and a perfect base for diving in St Abbs. Really friendly staff - had a nice chat with the locals too! Particularly appreciated accomodating for our late arrival

Eyemouth is a generally quiet town, few shops, the beach is ok but the harbour is more vibrant and busy with lovely chippy and The Ship and Oblos are lovely for food. We stayed in Eyemouth because I knew it was a perfect base for travelling to other towns on the East coast. Eyemouth is worth a visit but don’t expect too much activity.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

.We had a lovely big, bright clean room...tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room and we each had a bottle of water at our bedsides. The host, Amanda was very helpful...she told us where we could get a nice breakfast, we followed her advice and went to The Waterfront cafe where they had a good selection for breakfast. We had a walk around Eyemouth and called in for a drink at the Tavern where the bar lady was really friendly. I would have liked to stay longer at The Ships Quarters. We used Eyemouth as a base to visit Lindisfarne, and it suited our needs well. The town itself was very charming to walk about and I would have liked to explore it further if we had had more time. The hotel seems to have an associated restaurant, where we had a very nice meal. There were various tasty options for breakfast places nearby.SusanUnited States

The views across and around the harbour were interesting especially watching the seals being fed as the boats were unloading their catch. Eyemouth was a good base for touring local beaches and tourist places, Edinburgh being an easy drive via A1. Good facilities on the quayside with two clean and friendly bars within a couple of minutes walking also Fish and Chips and excellent Ice cream.

Although there was a flight of stairs outside this was not a negative as the stairs were well maintained. The location was perfect to walk to the harbour to have lunch or dinner. We used Eyemouth as a base to visit Coldingham priory , st Abbas, north Berwick and Bambourgh. I would definitely return in the future, great price for lovely apartment.

Toiletries, towels and bedding were all included as was the use of bikes if we would have liked them. Everything was spotless and there was contact from the owner to ensure we had all we needed. It was in a great spot on Eyemouth Park Dean Resort. The site itself was also very clean and well cared for. The beach at Eyemouth is lovely, even in January the kids loved chasing the waves. The property has everything you can think of. Really comfy beds, although the smaller bedroom is not two singles as pictured.
