Location was perfect for what I needed. The place is immaculate, underfloor heated, hepa filtered air, great shower, lovely hosts, and one of my personal favourites, a smart TV. Nothing negative to say and would definitely stay there again. Can't recommend highly enough. If you want a nice place to eat, there is one 5 mins down the road that the host will tell you all about.

Fantastic hotel. The young man, Jay, in the bar was so friendly and amusing. The receptionist, Simon was so charming and helpful.

Facilities are amazing, these hosts have thought of everything. The breakfast is incredible and the quality of facilities wonderful. A beautiful garden and off road parking - I like it so much, I returned for a second stay and looking forward to another stay in the future - highly recommended!

Everything was perfect, but our favourite bit was the outdoor seating area in the sun trap to sit back and admire the beautiful garden, breakfast was also lovely cooked with quality local ingredients.

Absolutely everything. Charming old features. Beams across the ceiling. The biggest bed ever in the most spacious and comfiest of rooms ever. A lovely bathroom, too - finished to a high spec.
Fantastic location... close enough to the airport but far enough away to feel like you were somewhere in the countryside. Wondeful host, too

Avoid Felsted!
Avoid Felsted! The town has no amenities at all - the pub didn't even do food!
Cedar Cottage is a nice spot to stay, but you'll need to enjoy frozen food heated up - OR have a car to drive to a nearby town!

Felsted has some historic buildings and is easy to walk around. Display boards describe the history of the village. I ate dinner at The Compasses pub in Littley Green but there are also several places to eat in the village.
