Lovely peaceful setting with quiet private decking area to sit out. Although it was help yourself buffet breakfast, Morag had gone out of her way to ensure there was everything you might need, and then some!

The accommodation wasn't actually in the village of Flashader, was on the outskirts. We climbed the old man of Storr, fantastic views from the trig point, the fairy pools were very pretty, Portree, Dunvegan Castle and the Talisker distillery. Also the beautiful coral beach.

Best was the accomodation if you want to relax it is a central location. Worse the bathroom is not fully suitable for disabled people e.g. the bath. I would take advice on adaptations. Grants are available for free.

You need a car to get around the Isle.

You need a car to get around the Isle. It can be quite a distance to reach the attractions. This location was quite central to walks and site seeing. Because we had a very useable kitchen we decided to eat in. The Co-op was approx. 10 miles away but had a good selection of items. There are some good restaurants around but you will need to book in advance as they are small in number but high in demand. We used the Farm Cottage that is terrific for families. The farm environment is a nice change and there is also a sea outlook.
