The beer was excellent, so nice to get back from a long day, sit in the bar which had a very welcoming atmosphere and not have to drive anywhere. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, we ate there twice. Gino's breakfasts were very good, especially the black pudding. Comfortable rooms and the village was in easy travelling distance to all the places we wanted to see.

I loved the vibe in this hotel. Very characteristic but also modern comforts. Lots of activity in the bars and restaurants. Very lively. Beautiful spacious room. Friendly people. As we were staying to attend a wedding at Clearwell castle, we didn’t get to use the facilities of the hotel this time but were impressed with what we saw. The room was fine , plenty of comfy bedding towels etc and nice bathroom
