Good location. The hotel lobby, dining area/bar area/breakfast area were all very comfortable and tastefully done and all of my interactions with the staff were courteous, polite and professional. As for my room (Exec Double); it was well decorated with nice furniture, and was of a good size. The bathroom was also sizeable with a large walk-in shower. The bed was just firm enough for me… not too soft and not too hard, also with soft, puffy pillow. The room has a fridge, tea/coffe making facilities, with iron/ironing board, TV with a good choice of channels. With regards to the location, one is within a 3-5 minute drive into town, if that. Other locations within a short driving distance, are Chalfont St. Peter, Amersham, Beaconsfield. Access to major motorway networks such as M40, M25, M4. From Gerrards Cross train station, it is 20 mins into Marylebone on the straight through/fast service. Lots of places to walk in the surrounding area. Within 30 minutes one can be in Windsor, but I’d suggest taking the road route through Stoke Poges and through Slough, thus avoiding M25/M4 traffic. All-in-all, the Bull is a nice hotel indeed.

The cleanliness of the hotel. The friendliness of the lady owner.
Set in Slough, 5.6 km from Windsor Castle, Residence Inn by Marriott Slough offers accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.
We really enjoyed the hotel. Our room had everything we required. One issue was that the floorboards were very squeeky and therefore pretty annoying. We appreciate it must be difficult to resolve this problem. Also it was very noisy on the Friday evening, mainly caused by a stag night!
We had a good breakfast one day and found a couple of very good restaurants in the village within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in Gerrards Cross as a convenient base for visiting friends and family. We did not really consider it as a holiday location. However, the train station is a few minutes walk away and the village common looked inviting although time and weather prevented us exploring.

We stayed overnight as our daughter was flying from Heathrow back to Canada the next morning. The good thing about the hotel was the convenience, and the proximity to other relatives. We met these relatives in the bar for a drink in the evening, which was nice.
However, the hotel was very tatty, and tired. In addition, there was a pervasive smell of damp/sewers upstairs including in our room. The windows in our room would not close, and the glass was cracked, with torn net curtains. The windows along the main corridor were open and locked in that way. Carpets were dirty, and the hot tap on the wash basin was loose so it had to be held to operate the tap. The toilet seat was hanging off too. The bed was very soft and uncomfortable. We had two tea bags in our room and had to ask for more so we had enough for tea in the morning. We won’t be returning!

Very helpful and welcoming staff. Location is excellent. Short walk in town and for rail connection into London. Rooms are comfortable and on our last two visits it was clear that the bathrooms had been upgraded to an excellent standard. Pretty standard breakfast and good bar meals.

We were visiting for a family party nearby.
We were visiting for a family party nearby. For that purpose it was fine. We did not eat at the property other than breakfast. It is ok but is generally tired and in need of an update. Outside areas were untidy.
I have stayed at the Ethorpe for over 15 years when visiting London. The restaurant, bar and dining area have been remodeled. Very comfortable, great food and beverages. The room was comfortable, beds firm, clean, everything worked - TV, clicker, ligths, WIFI. The staff is outstanding. Parking available on the premises. Great location close to the railway to go into Marylebone Station. The town of Gerrards Cross has shops, a Waitrose market and restaurants - all within a very short walking distance.
We had a large double room which was comfortable and spacious although a little dated and tired. Great location within Gerrards Cross, just a short walk to the train station and easy to get in and out of London particularly Wembley!
The hotel does an excellent breakfast and the restaurant is very good value too. Plenty of parking on site at the rear of the hotel.
The Bull was perfectly located for my requirements, just a short walk into Gerrards Cross and close to my work. It is a very old and traditional hotel in parts although it has been extended and is now quite a large hotel. The bedroom was slightly dated but very clean and functional. The breakfast was plentiful and kept warm.
Great location and the place is much bigger than it looks. The restaurant downstairs is incredible, just go, don't deliberate, just make sure you eat in Yaprak. We are about to move to the area and it cemented the fact that we made the right choice.
I liked to bed, it was very comfy. My room was always very clean.
It is also cheaper then the other Hotels in the area, which is a great. The bar is also very nice, it even has a fire place (something I like).
THE STAFF WERE VERY GOOD ESPECIALLY THE SECURITY MAN ON THE DOOR WHO CAME STRAIGHT TO OUR AID WHEN ONE OF OUR FRIENDS AND FELLOW GUEST AT THE HOTEL FELL GETTING OUT OF THE TAXI ON 16/09/2023 HE WAS EXCELLENT
Room was very comfortable and very warm. Everything that you might want in the room was provided and the evening meal was good. Parking facilities were good and next to a main Train line to London.
Everything, the staff was excellent and friendly and very helpful, the hotel was comfy and peaceful the room was a great size and the food was fantastic we really loved our stay😀👍👍
Great place to stay, lovely relaxing atmosphere with amazing staff who were happy to chat to us and helped with taxi's etc. Food amazing, would definitely use this hotel again.
Everyone is very professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and for an unfussy stay works perfectly. Breakfast is generously and comprehensively provisioned.
