Friendly staff and clean accommodation. The shower was over the bath and not easy to access if you have back problems as we do.
If we had been staying longer we would have requested an opportunity to change rooms. My wife has a dairy sensitivity and this was well catered for until our final meal. We both chose a fish dish and the dip for my wife was supposed to be dairy free. We believe the 2 plates were confused by the member of staff when served. Although she had only a taste, we were wary and it was left. The hotel was in beautiful grounds and a beautiful area for a holiday.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room, a single room had a large and very comfortable bed. It was spotlessly clean and well-furnished. Breakfast was very good. The chef prepared meals for me that perfectly matched my dietary needs. A great experience and I will return!

The location & views. There was a few nice pubs but couldn't get in to eat as was fully booked being a Sat night. The only one we didn't try to book was the Plough as the reviews weren't as good.
The Wheatsheaf was our number one choice as we had been before, but was full inside & out.We rang around 6 pubs, so advise pre booking before your stay!
We had a 15min drive to the Berkeley Arms Melton Mowbray which was a lovely meal & service. Very accommodating, friendly staff & great food.

This is a good place to use as a base to explore so many places in the area. Greetham Valley Golf Club is ideally placed for taking a relaxing break or exploring the many interesting local towns and villages.
The rooms and all areas were super clean. The bed was really large and we had a great nights sleep in there. The hotel was a nice hotel. The receptionist upon arrival was very lovely and it was a nice start to the stay. Location wise it’s off the beaten track but great for golfers or those attending a function there. The food at the function was superb and the main bar had friendly staff and a nice atmosphere with a log burner and home cooked meals on offer.
Plenty of room in the very large bar area, staff always very friendly. The food menu was quite varied and very good with large servings! Hotel is in a great location just off the A1 and very peaceful at night. Good to use as a base for exploring the area.
Tim is a great host. The room has everything you need for a short stay. Bed is very comfortable and the location is perfect for visiting Greetham and the surrounding area. Also, there are 2 pubs with restaurants within easy walking. We''ll be back.
