I stayed at Hawkedon whilst attending a wedding in Newmarket. Prior to the visit, communication was excellent, giving me clear instructions how to reach the property and what amenities there are locally. The accommodation was absolutely lovely. The proprietor Sam greeted me when I arrived and showed me how to operate the key safe. The rooms were pleasantly decorated, clean and very comfortable. There were clear instructions to use the WiFi, tea making facilities and a microwave oven concealed in the cupboard, as well as essential toiletries. Everything you needed for a pleasant visit!

a very tranquil idyllic setting with just a church, beautiful houses set around the green and the lovely 15th century coach house pub that we stayed in. The restaurant had excellent and delicious food (with enormous portions) and has a very extensive wine list. The hosts of the apartments above the pub are very kind and welcoming. The apartments are beautifully decorated and have everything you need.AlexandraUnited Kingdom
