Lovely big car park and nice looking property. Decent sized room, but would have loved to see some colour, perhaps in cushions and a few pictures as it was a bit bland. Climb into the bath to shower with a shower curtain, never our favourite. All just a bit tired, with a strangely bumpy floor. However, the price was reasonable and we didn’t pay for luxury.

Very central for dinner at Heckfield Place if you don't want to pay a ludicrous amount to stay there! The New Inn is about a mile from Heckfield Place but the busy road means it is not recommended to walk. The beds would benefit from a 'Topper' as the mattress was a little uncomfortable. Friendly and attentive service, good quality fresh food hot food (nothing reheated in a microwave, tasty cooked to order hot breakfast, good parking ......all in all a very good stay and would return if in the area again. Take a drive to Hazeley Heath .....a lovely place to walk and cycle and great to take a drink and snack up to at sunset.
