Great location, very modern and super clean. Rooms were big and not claustrophobic and free toiletries. Had a safe which was great. Housekeeping were spot on and room was immaculate. Reception staff were happy, polite and accommodating especially on checkin 17/05 evening. Health club staff were both polite and accommodating and area was immaculate and super clean - hotel has just renovated the pool area. Lots of parking especially in overflow car pack literally just opposite hotel where we parked all weekend. Hotel is spacious, modern and welcoming.

Amazing English pub with beautifully appointed rooms that maintained their charm. Room was clean, beds comfortable, bathroom was large with all the products you would need. Excellent tea, coffee, water, chocolates and a nip of gin! The breakfast was great - eggs Benedict one day and avocado on toast the next.

Lovely big car park and nice looking property. Decent sized room, but would have loved to see some colour, perhaps in cushions and a few pictures as it was a bit bland. Climb into the bath to shower with a shower curtain, never our favourite. All just a bit tired, with a strangely bumpy floor. Very central for dinner at Heckfield Place if you don't want to pay a ludicrous amount to stay there! The New Inn is about a mile from Heckfield Place but the busy road means it is not recommended to walk. The beds would benefit from a 'Topper' as the mattress was a little uncomfortable. Friendly and attentive service, good quality fresh food hot food (nothing reheated in a microwave, tasty cooked to order hot breakfast, good parking ......all in all a very good stay and would return if in the area again. Take a drive to Hazeley Heath .....a lovely place to walk and cycle and great to take a drink and snack up to at sunset. Swinley Forest about 28 mins away with all it MTB cycling routes and plenty of other things to do in the area.

Lovely big fluffy towels and a comfy bed with crisp fresh linen. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful as well as the restaurant staff, where we had dinner, which was very good. The breakfast was also exceptional in our opinion. We had a lovely stay at the Wellington Arms and it was excellent value for money, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
