The White Horse, hotel in Hertingfordbury

Set in Hertingfordbury, 11 km from Hatfield House, The White Horse offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

Great location, and I appreciated the extras with the facilities (mixture of good quality tea, coffee, glass bottled water and biscuits) and very clean, looks like the room was renovated fairly recently, beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Food from the restaurant was lovely too!

I love the location, stayed there a couple of weeks ago without problems, but this stay would be my last as the room for £115 was not up to standard and there are no staff on site only telephone numbers, breakfast at weekends is from 10am till 11am not the brightest idea I must say.

We found this a very comfortable reasonably priced hotel/pub with good food. Breakfast can be ordered but possibly not when the restaurant is closed Monday/Tuesday so it is best to check. It is worth having if available.

A lovely traditional and comfortable pub.

A lovely traditional and comfortable pub. The rooms are tastefully designed with big beds. Great bathroom. Being an old property, there is no air conditioning and it was a bit stuffy the night we were there.
