The Summer House provided a lovely little 2 night stay. It was clean, we could see the sea! It was very quiet - probably time of year. I can see it being very busy in the summer. We had everything we needed and host had tea, coffee in the cupboard. There were also towels provided - bonus! all cleaning sprays, toilet rolls, tea towels etc - all provided.

My son & I attended the Morecombe FC fixture against Mansfield Town traveling from the Isle of Man. The town is nice but a little run down like many British seaside resorts these days, i wish the council could invest in the appearance a little more.

Heysham Village is very pretty and a short walk to Morecambe along the front with no cars. Many people cycle and there is room for both. The Royal pub has a lovely outdoor seating area and a good menu.

Heysham is a small village and you can get around most of it's highlights in an afternoon BUT you must make sure do. St Patricks up on the promontory has been a place of worship since the eighth century and you get some stunning views across to Arnside and beyond to the Lakes. Below is St Peters where you can get a nice tea, coffee and cake from 10:30 to 3:00 (out of season) and the church itself is packed full of history, including a rare hogback grave stone. The church yard has lots of additional historic graves plus Glebe Garden, pure English whimsy and full of garden ornaments that children would love.
From Heysham, you can easily walk along the sea front to Morecambe and beyond. It's all flat and, I think, wheel chair accessible. If the weather turns, you can get a Number 5 bus back from the Morecambe front into upper Heysham and then walk back to the lower village.

We have come back because we like being on the edge of the Lake District and seeing beautiful countryside.Heysham itself isn’t the most exciting place in the world but it is a good jumping off ground for getting out and about even to the Isle of Man!
The house is really beautiful, can tell it has been refurbed to a highs spec. Had everything we need for a small family with a toddler. We visit Heysham regularly as we have family there so we will definitely be booking again. Like a little home from home 😊
Also thank god for remote locks, my partner decided to leave the car keys in the house just as we were leaving and I had locked up, thankfully Steve answered the phone and managed to open the lock for me to get them 🙈
Lovely and clean caravan, everything you needed, good cooker, microwave, crockery etc
location was ideal for us, grassed area for walks and children to play, then the sea beyond for watching the ferries in and out of Heysham, very quiet area.
The complex itself was good, food and drinks where good what we had, plenty to keep the children entertained 😀, we didn't use the pool, but did look fine, and all the staff where helpful and pleasant.
Very pleasant stay 😊
Old style building with only stairs. Only 6 rooms in the hotel and we had 3 for the group. All rooms were newly updated with modern vanity and comfort. Even though there was no A/C, we opened the windows and turned on the fan to help circulate cool airs. It’s conveniently located by the water and hence a short walk to witness a wonderful sunset. Lovely place! We’ll definitely stay here again if opportunity presents itself.
A clean, but basic mobile home. Small shop on site with a few basics. Possible to park on grass directly outside accommodation. Very little in the way of content, especially in kitchen. Despite this, we would stay again for a night or two. Normally, we would stay in cottage or hotel, but we needed somewhere very close to people we were visiting, and this was the nearest.
Room was decorated lovely and had everything we needed. The bathroom was lovely and big. We ate inside the first and outside the 2nd night. Both meals were lovely. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The surrounding area was nice to go for a walk. Staff were really friendly and attentive
Location was perfect, the hotel blended the original pup/inn with the hotel very well maintaining the cosy, warm feel of the historic building. The Staff made the hotel exceptional they were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. And to top it off the food was excellent and plentiful.
Nice pet friendly caravan on a nice site near Heysham .. ideal for visiting morcombe and Blackpool areas
Nice clean van ideal for families
Site was run by park deans so we bought our weekend ticket which got us in to club house swimming bars and resteraunt for £12 each
The lodge was spacious and comfortable, well set out and had all we needed for our family of five and one child. The site was convenient for Heysham and Morcam. We had an enjoyable weekend.
It was good for dog walking too.
Lots of choice for self service breakfast, including non dairy milk. Fabulous view over Morecambe Bay from the lounge, which we were encouraged to use for breakfast and in the evening. Quiet location. Very friendly hosts.
Easily accessible room which was very comfortable and ideally located less than 2 minutes from Heysham ferry port. The nearby pub was ideal for meal and drinks
We liked the location and the couple who owned the property were very sociable. For visitors using the ferry out of Heysham it is an ideal overnight stay.
