The location is fabulous, and the main building, rooms and spa clean and atmospheric. The spa is a strong point given the indoor and outdoor facilities. The food, once delivered, was superb and was the highlight of the stay, especially breakfast. If you are allergic to dog hair, stay away, as all the rooms (including bedrooms) are doggy friendly - a plus and negative!

Our second stay at The Od Bell and it really is the staff that make it an enjoyable stay. They are all friendly and helpful. We needed to check out early on Monday morning and they organised sandwiches and fruit for our journey as we needed to leave before breakfast.
We did have the cooked breakfast on the Sunday which was delicious.
Bed very comfortable.

We appreciated the warm welcome, the availability of extra blankets (just in case..), the clean, neat & warm en-suite and the location with its beautiful views.
Also a great breakfast
Staff were incredibly helpful. I don't think I've every stayed anywhere where the staff were so willing to help. When we arrived they told us they were getting a takeaway and asked us if we wanted anything ordering.
Very clean, very spacious room and comfy bed. Very pleased with this hotel. Would have been nice to have a beer and some food in the garden but unfortunately due to covid the bar and restaurant were closed.
Would absolutely stay again! Thank you very much!
There was no breakfast. We booked on the understanding that the condition was on a bed and breakfast basis. However, we received an E mail approx four days prior saying that the hotel was on a room only basis and the Restaurant and the bar were closed. This gave us little time to rebook elsewhere.
We really enjoyed our time in Heytesbury and the staff at the Angel Inn were fantastic. They made us feel right at home right away, and it was easy to relax there. They were also wonderful with our puppy Roscoe and he felt at home right away too.
Lovely location in the pretty village of Heytesbury. The staff were fantastic. The food was good and plentiful. The hotel was comfortable and we slept so well that we nearly missed breakfast. Loved it.
Easy access to the hotel. Lovely and caring staff. The room was clean, spacious and mostly warm for his time of the year.
I will definitely stop by next time I am in the region.
Nice staff.
The rooms are fine, old-style. Good value for money.
The food at the restaurant was really nice, it's worth having dinner there even if not staying at the hotel.
The lodge was lovely, ideal location and very quiet in a great setting.
Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to visit Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.
