veggie breakfast was good , but could have had more mushrooms and maybe haloumi as I always feel we veggies miss out as a FULL ENGLISH has bacon etc so would be nice to take that into consideration. spinach was served which i dont feel is a breakfast food. service was excellent from ALL staff.

A beautiful and stylish property, with ample parking, good location near Burnham market/ Holkham beach and delicious food/ great service. The communal areas were tasteful and comfortable, and little touches like complimentary afternoon cake and tea/coffee facilities made this a touch above the rest. The bed was very comfortable, the room quiet and the bedroom facilities excellent. I will definitely come back again!

Burt is an excellent Host, Very amenable and helpful. Breakfast was 1st rate, as was Jeffery the Cat. Views in the morning over the fields with the Hare's chasing about was quite memorable.

The whole place is peaceful and beautiful. The room was very comfortable, with en-suite shower room. I asked at reception for an extra pillow and it was quickly provided. Breakfast was good - buffet style with everything one could want.
The gardens are lovely, especially as I was very fortunate with the weather during my stay. The carillons ringing out made a delightful sound.
The Shrine Church is very special, with a great deal to see and learn, as well as services held frequently.
Walsingham Abbey is only a few minutes walk away, and offers a wonderful step back into history with the museum there. The Abbey ruins are rather sad, but also majestic. The gardens are wonderful. When I visited the bluebells were just coming out.
Lunch at the Read And Digest Tearoom, situated between the Shrine and the Abbey, was delicious.
Wells-next-the-sea is an easy bus ride away and is well worth a visit. Alpaca trekking is available (see their website) and ambling along with an alpaca is a very pleasant hour or so.
A very restoring few days.

We ate at the Victoria every night and the food was very good but very generous, so if you are a small eater I would make it clear that you only want a small portion.
Holkham is a wonderful place to visit (bird watchers paradise), we also visited the Park which we had not done before but would certainly return to, very accessible for anyone who has mobility problems.
