I love staying here as it is a straightforward, no frills kind of place, but it is always clean, quiet and the staff are ever-so-nice.
I haven't eaten dinner here before and usually find something in the area, but ordered the jerk chicken burger and it was amazing. Fries were great and the coleslaw (I don't really like coleslaw) was so tasty.
Breakfast is a straightforward buffet, but the bacon, sausage, eggs etc are very, very tasty.
Definitely recommend it as it is great value for money.
Old Rose and Crown Hotel is within 400 acres of the beautiful Lickey Hills, 5 minutes' drive from the M5 and M42 motorways, 15 minutes from central Birmingham.

Situated in a good location close to Longbridge Railway Station, the shopping district and the main road network.
The room was reasonable, the bed was comfy and the linen clean.
The en-suite bathroom was okay but could do with a deep clean and some ventilation.

If they have a function on do not go ,waited to be seated for dinner for an hour as a paying guest very helpful reception staff well done James duty manager refused to see me about complaint regarding dinner situation disgusting incompetent individual, scott is a insult to the industry. To owner if you have a function on get more staff in so paying guests can have a meal after travelling all day and employ a duty manager who can give customer service like reception.Thaks for ruined stay SCOTT

The room was lovely. The bed amazing. The little heater on the wall took a long time to warm the room .so maybe update the heating system or put another heater in the room because they are good size rooms

Clean the bedrooms and toilets properly, let your guests have usage of the heat they want, out a fridge in the guests bedroom so we can bring some essentials in and answer the reception phone as I have been completely ignored.

Westmead hotel was ideally situated for the work I was doing in the area so made the trip very worth while, could have done with staying the night before too as to me a very long time to get to my place of work on the Thursday morning due to the weather and flooded roads.

Great affordable hotel, we always stay here twice a year when we have to visit the area for work for the past 14 years. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar offers very good food with competitive prices to the pub down the road. The bar area is rather nice to relax in. Always clean which is the main plus.
There was a wedding at the Hotel and in the evening there was loud music. As I was in a room right at the end of the corridor I only heard the drums. It would have been good to have known about the wedding.
The breakfast was very good.
This has got to be one of the best hotels I have stopped in. the staff were lovely and helpful they have done an excellent job with the room and the stay was very enjoyable. Will definitely be back…may move in 😉
We needed a place to stay for the night to break our journey home from Northumberland. The Westmead Hotel was ideally placed for this. The room was light and airy and the bed was very comfortable
Really good quality room and the food was delicious. We were attending the funeral of a good friend and really appreciated the hotel allowing us all to eat together in the evening.
