Room was spacious and clean. Although the bed was large, the mattress was a little firm for my liking but as we were only there for one evening, it was not a problem. The breakfast was very good indeed. We arrived at a busy time, with a queue to enter, but the staff were so friendly and efficient that it did not take long to get a table.

The Hotel is in the middle of the town with easy access to the towns bars and restaurants. Although the hotel is undergoing renovations the rooms in the courtyard were very clean and comfortable. The Hotel had a bar and what looked like very good pub grub, it also had an Italian owned by the same family. I ate at the Italian with a client and was really impressed by the food and service.
Situated opposite Barnetby railway station and 10 minutes from Immingham, The Whistle and Flute is a 4-star hotel with a pub, a restaurant and free parking.

Excellent food for dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location even though opposite the railway station. Didn't really notice the trains.

We stay here two or three times a year, great location and the hotel just ticks all the boxes.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble.
Lovely building, great breakfast and evening meal, and bar is not over priced which hotels often are.
