A grand country estate with lots of activities, great food.

A grand country estate with lots of activities, great food. We ate twice both nights, food was delicious. All the staff were polite and friendly from Breakfast to Dinner. Didn't visit the pool this time but booked up for another stay so will go. We stayed for 3 nights and could have stayed longer. Played on the Eden course and St. Micheals. Room was lovely, bed comfortable, liked the little reading light aswell as the lamp on the side of the bed .A little bit of luxury to have bathrobes. Breakfast timings later than expected, was great to be able to have breakfast after 10 am.

We stayed in the woodcutters cottage for 2 nights.

We stayed in the woodcutters cottage for 2 nights. It is 2 bedroomed, one at either end of the cottage, both en-suite. A large sitting room and a separate kitchen with dining table and chairs. Plastic table and chairs outside in the small garden. Parking is at the end of a path leading to the cottage. Finding the cottage was very difficult, the directions have you looking for a road that is there but didn’t have a road name on it. Took us 20 mins to find it. The directions to it could have been a lot clearer. We stayed here as it was my daughters wedding. Beautiful place to get married.

I stay at Kilconquhar Castle Estate whenever I visit Fife for work and golf. It is in a perfect location close to many of the top golf courses in the world. The staff are always personable, accommodating, and helpful. The villas, although a bit dated, are perfect for golf holidays with a group of friends. We loved having the three-hole warm-up area available before hitting the links, as most Scots do not warm up before playing. The bar is a great place to unwind after a day on the links. I highly recommend the estate.

Nice hotel with plenty of facilities for everyone in the family (pool, tennis, gym, badminton, toddler area, putting green.. ). We stayed in the castle itself, it was comfortable. The room is a bit old style, which I guess is to match with the castle theme but the bathroom are modern. They also have villas where families can stay. The pool is heated and they have saunas in men and women changing rooms. The food in the bistro was nice and not too pricey for a hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

We chose this hotel as we were guests at a wedding in Elie and it’s only a couple of miles away. We stayed in one of the hotel rooms (8) and found it to be clean and of a good standard. The check in was fine - very straightforward. The breakfast was excellent- probably the best haggis I’ve ever had. All staff we encountered were lovely and friendly. Would recommend.

Beautiful grounds to walk around and very quiet. Meals in the bistro were excellent. Our rooms were spacious with large beds and beautiful bathrooms. We stayed in the castle and it was historical and lovely. St. Andrews was a short drive away and there are many other places to visit. This was the best lodging of our 8 day stay in Scotland.

Parking good, grounds great for walks. Facilities good. The room was large, clean and comfy bed. Tv a good size in the room. Breakfast was tasty but could have done with more of it. Not impressed with portion sizes. Toast was too light as a minor point. The hotel staff we found very friendly, which was great.
