The heating didn't work. The boiler didn't have the necessary pressure to start up. The owner just told me to start the heater. Despite trying to start it for 1 hour, it still didn't work.

Check in was easy though the reception person asked how many nights eventhough she had given me a form to complete that said 2 nights. Made me question if my booking was right. Nice to have tea and coffee in room. Comfy bed.

ample of carparking space in their own car park, checking was pleasant the receptionist was very helpful on both check-in and check-out the room i stayed in was very modern and clean, restaurant food was excellent and the breakfast options were also plentiful and of good quality.

The receptionist went out of her way to explain all aspects of my stay and also showed me to my room. The room was exactly as described with a lovely view of the canal outside. It was a busy hotel but really quiet, which made for a perfect night's sleep. I ate in the restaurant twice and the food was top quality. The highlight of my time there was the absolute courtesy and politeness of every member of staff. They should be commended just for this.
