We were a group of 9 motorcyclists staying over before a trip round Skye.
Reception, bar and restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. Although we'd been told in advance that we wouldn't be able to eat together in the restaurant, they managed to rearrange the seating for us which we appreciated. Good service from all areas.
Facing the seafront in Kyleakin, Skye Backpackers features barbecue facilities. Among the various facilities are a garden and a shared lounge.

Kirkton is on a single track road with a dead end, it's therefore very quiet.
The views across the loch were great, and ever changing.
Don't miss Manuela's bakery!
And very considerate of a deer to visit the garden on the first morning to make us feel welcome.....
