Wonderful location and scenery, plenty of interesting places to visit, travelling by boat a convenient option, but for someone with limited walking ability the lack of car parking spaces at peak times was a problem

The staff were very attentive and helpful.
The staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel had a very older world ambience and was very relaxing the piano player in the evening was very entertaining. The only complaint was the price of the wine was vastly over priced in the dinning room and brasserie. But the bar prices where reasonable. Great hotel, in lovely location. Ferry to Bowness-on-Windermere ideal. Had dinner in restaurant, very good. Breakfast disappointing, waited very long time for cooked food to come out and when it did it was cold!AlisonUnited Kingdom
