I was really well received (arrived early) and shown to the room by a friendly manager. Parking had to be registered and all was done. The restaurant was very popular and fully booked - so if you want to eat quality Vietnamese food, you might want to book. I slept well and the environs were quiet. I took a walk in the area and felt very comfortable. Lots of pubs local to the place and the Hole in the Wall opposite was recommended.
Set in the small village of Lanlivery, less than 10 minutes from Eden Project, The Crown Inn features a sun terrace and views of the garden. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and if I'd been there for pleasure rather than a funeral I would have used the pool

Really friendly staff and the food was lovely. The room was comfortable and spotless. Great base for exploring North Cornwall as well. Only 20 minutes to a beach. The hotel has been renovated to a high standard and still ongoing, but that doesn't affect your stay.

We very much enjoyed the very central location of the hotel. We were able to get around the town, access the Camel trails and visit bars and restaurants with absolute ease.
This is a oub hotel. The food there looked great. We were not disturbed by any noise at all.
The lady at the bar kindly helped us store bags before we checked in. She later checked us in, efficiently.
The room was of a good size and tastefully furnished. There were enough radiators for a cool evening!
The price for such a centrally located room was excellent 👌.
Nestled amid the beautiful Cornish countryside, between Bodmin and Wadebridge, this charming hotel is beautifully set within a Grade II listed building, dating back to the early 18th century.

The house was great, much bigger and nicer than we thought based on the pictures. The location is brilliant, with lots of wonderful trips and activities nearby. We hope to stay again in the future and would recommend it.

Beautiful well maintained cottage with all the amenities you could want two well equipped bathrooms fully equipped kitchen and lovely setting. It is hard to find on a busy road so I would suggest a new bigger sign the current one is slightly hidden by bushes and we passed it several times. And remember to bring bed linen with you as they don't provide any.

Great place for a week’s break, unfortunately the weather was not kind to us, so we used the lodge as a base and visited all the National Trust Houses in the area.
The lodge is warm, clean and has all the mod cons
All the staff were welcoming, friendly and an asset to Waterside.
We used the restaurant, café and bar and would highly recommend all three.
We did not use any of the outdoor sports facilities due to the weather or the indoor ones due to us both having colds.
We had a relaxing break and re charged our batteries and we would go again!

A lovely relaxing location, which was perfectly located to be able to visit either coast with ease. Although we had booked for 4 nights/5days (2 days travelling) it really wasn't enough time to enjoy the resort with all its facilities to its fullest. We really need to go back next year with more of our family.

Really lovely accommodation, we ate in the restaurant once and the food was really good. The location is great, close to pretty much everything so we were out all of the time but we cooked in the accommodation and it had everything you needed, like a home from home. Really quiet and relaxing, I would definitely go again
Thanks to the excellent directions provided we were able to find the property as sat nav gave up due being so remote. A great house on two floors with 2 bathrooms. We used as a base to explore all around Cornwall and not far from the main amenities in Bodmin. Very quiet and as is on a part time working farm we had the joy of the cows coming in one day and had a bull looking through the window. Would recommend.
The house was immaculate, spotlessly clean, had great amenities (wifi, TV, super bathroom, kitchen) and the decor is stunning. Very comfortable bed and really cosy. Lanivet is a really good central location for exploring much of Cornwall. The village has a lovely pub and very well stocked small shop. Also a fish and chip shop, though we didn't use it.
