The village has one pub but otherwise does not have a lot to offer. However there are some very good country walks and it is idealy located for getting around Constable country and visiting Colchester and Lavenham.PeterGermany

Although I had a couple of treatments which were excellent. No robes for hotel guests, only those on a spa break wasn't very good either. Also reserved beds in the spa for those on a spa break meant that hotel guests had very few to go round. The food was OK in the Sports Bar, but the other restaurants were very expensive.DebbiePeople with friends

Although we weren't able to make much use of them with kids and having commitments in the daytime, the gym looked decent and the pool area had a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Also a big fan of the apple and mango soaps and moisturisers 😂
