Lighthorne is a really old 16th century farmhouse extended over the years. The room we stayed in was outside in a small yard. It was quite modern and spacious and comfortable. The host Sue was lovely and her breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious. It was a 10 minute walk to the local pub for evening meal and the whole village was quiet and welcoming. Would make a good base from which to visit the area.

Very friendly reception on arrival with a cup of tea and a slice of cake. The room and bed were extremely comfortable. Big bathroom with a very nice shower. Excellent wifi. Lovely quiet location with lovely views. Very nice breakfast in the morning.

Sue was an excellent host and breakfast was on time and succulent. The surroundings were very tranquil and our cottage was so quiet and relaxing. The walk to the Antelope was a gentle 7 to 8 minutes and the staff at the Antelope were very welcoming and the food excellent.JamesUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Very quiet but very isolated. No local shops, so, you definitely need a car. Parking is easy - just don't turn up in a 50s' Cadillac! Nicely located for the British Motor Museum 10 minutes away. Can't fault it!DianeUnited Kingdom
