The hotel staff were very kind. They greeted us with a smile and shared the necessary information with us. The room was comfortable. We really liked the overall ambiance of the hotel. There was a restaurant and bar downstairs, and the food and drinks were quite good. Rather than staying in luxurious, detached, and impersonal hotels, it's satisfying to be somewhere you can feel comfortable, where the staff makes you feel at ease. Breakfast was included and was very good. Thanks so much for everything!
In beautiful, peaceful grounds, between Edinburgh and Glasgow, this 4-star hotel is rich in historic charm, with a restaurant, a bar and great leisure facilities, including an 18-metre swimming pool.
With picturesque views over the River Forth, the family-run Richmond Park Hotel is situated within its own grounds and is just 10 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh Airport.

Great location for exploring locally around Bo’ness or Edinburgh. Can get train to Glasgow also from Linlithgow station.
Very helpful and professional staff that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
Good quality food in the restaurant for breakfast and all other mealtimes.
Good sized room with very comfortable bed.
Very reasonable price.

You must visit the Linlithgow Palace! The streets in Linlithgow are walkable, so that's nice. Be aware whenever you are anywhere in Scotland on a Monday, restaurants and shops may be closed (I ran into this all over each Monday). Otherwise, Linlithgow is a quaint town with rich history. Go!

Enjoyed exploring this historic town.
Enjoyed exploring this historic town. Visited the Palace and the museum and the canal basin during our short stay. Next time we would like to walk round the lake and explore the area more. There seemed to be lots of nice looking cafes, restaurants and pubs too.

Unfortunately the magnificent Palace was closed for repairs but the loch, town and canal were as lovely as ever. I have previously stayed in Linlithgow and remember it well from my boyhood in Edinburgh. The glorious cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling are quickly reached by train but Linlithgow is of course well worth visiting in its own right. You will soon find your own favourite cafes and restaurants and remember the unique sound of car tyres on cobbled streets! So get your morninng rolls and come here. Enjoy.

A great place to enjoy walking around and to follow the trails offered. The Palace and the Peel, the loch and the pavement cafes were our favourites.
We had some take-away and also a meal in the Star and Garter but there was really so much choice of eating places it depended on how busy it was at certain times. Unfortunately, the Palace was undergoing some building work so was not open. It is worth walking up to see the Union Canal basin, all run by volunteers.
It is a friendly and welcoming town.
Our host was amazing. She provided us with so much information and she was kind enough to let us check in early after our flight was cancelled. We found a wonderful supply of super ingredients for breakfast in the fridge. It was great to have so much space on our last day in Scotland. I would recommend this accommodation to everybody!! The beds were comfy and we had two bathrooms, a kitchen and two bedrooms. The location is brilliant and we loved being in the countryside away from the noise. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!!
Very well equipped and laid out shepherds hut considering it's dimensions which obviously limited what can be fitted within. Parking was in a spacious allocated location with the key lock-box right there.
Location was superb. Very quiet and peaceful and yet not too far to walk into Linlithgow, or use the hourly bus service (F1) which stops right outside the driveway during the day time only. A regular bus runs from Linlithgow to Edinburgh which suited our needs very well.
Oh my goodness, we absolutely love this apartment! Everything you could possibly need or want was provided and it was situated in such a beautiful area too. The bus stop to Edinburgh is on the main road in front of the apartment complex and it’s also easy to get into nearby Linlithgow town. Everything was perfect, spotlessly clean, well maintained, warm and welcoming and felt just like a home from home. Cannot recommend highly enough.
hotel very close to railway station but trains did not run during the night.room was very clean and public areas were the same, staff were continuosly wiping down surfaces.large choice for the breakfast menu with full english more than enough tokeep you going all day.all the staff made you feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble for them.
Toni's central Linlithgow apartment is light, bright, spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need in a home from home. The location is absolutely perfect as base for exploring historical Linlithgow and the stunning surrounding area. I would very much recommend this apartment for long or short breaks as it's great.
Perfect location, child loved the closeness to the loch and park. Still being christmassy made the stay more festive. Was attending a wedding at The Vu which gave us a stressfree day having a home from home as everything we needed was there.
It was also a good area for taxi service. Linlithgow is a beautiful area
Warm, cozy and very well appointed. A beautiful place to stay if you wish to explore the area. Car parking provided and a direct bus which goes every half hour straight into Edinburgh. Sad to leave but will definitely recommend it (and return if in the area again)
This was our first visit to Linlithgow. The flat was situated in a good location in the town, within walking distance of the high street and family and friends. A high standard of fixtures and fittings in the flat made it feel hotel standard.
Great location with dog friendly cafes and pubs. Compact and comfortable property with a well-equipped kitchen.
Good access to nearby areas to meet up with family.

Our stay at Arden Country House was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. Everything about our stay was first rate. It is easily the best place we’ve stayed during our 4 week trip thru Iceland, Ireland and Scotland.
We felt at home in this quaint and quiet apartment. Close to glasgow and edinburgh, and a couple minutes to town.
The interior and exterior are well maintained. The jacuzzi tub with television is a nice retreat.
Enjoyable stay. We asked to change room when we arrived. We were given a very small room with only a skylight window in the ceiling so we were given a much larger room which was nice. Food good in the hotel
Location is great. Very central, private car park so no hassle. Building was very historic and interesting. A very peaceful place to stay, yet right in the heart of Linlithgow.
The house is in an idyllic location, close to Linlithgow.
It is immaculate, inside and out, and all the rooms and facilities would be a credit to a five star luxury hotel;.
