Malham is lovely. Buck Inn sits in a great location and looks the part. Generally the decor was good. Boltmaker is a great beer. The bedroom was comfortable. The boot tray is an excellent idea in the bedroom although I left my boots in the car.

The property is in a beautiful location and the room was really cosy, clean and warm. I love the fact it’s kept some old features of the beams as well. The service was very personal and I was called by my first name which I thought was a very personal touch. I felt very welcome there as well. The food was excellent and of good quality. I particularly enjoyed my steak which was cooked to perfection. The banana dessert was really enjoyable as well. The sausages and bacon were particularly tasty too.

Fantastic traditional Yorkshire Inn in an idyllic setting next to the River Wharfe. Great beer, great food (especially the award winning pies made by the lovely Sarah) and a pub atmosphere that you will not find anywhere else, created by the ever-entertaining owner and landlord Ed.
