The staff were excellent, cleanliness very good. Slept very well in the comfortable bed. Evening meal very nice, breakfast ok. However the hotel bedroom was looking slightly tired and the furniture needs upgrading. Overall good stay.

Friendly welcome and efficient checkin Room was compact but had everything required. it was nice and cosy on a wet and windswept night with minimal noise from outside. Being separate from the pub was great for quietness but it was just a few yards to the restaurant where the food looked good. I had breakfast and that was all perfect

Nice neighbourhood with plenty of views, fresh air and some excellent local pubs for real ale. The Ossett Brewery Black Bull on Halifax Road is a must!! Some great local places for food. If you like a takeaway after a night out try Wok Ever Palace in Cleckheaton which is excellent for great food and delivery and Haighs Farm Shop up the Road for some well renowned Yorkshire Produce and interesting finds! Millbridge Fisheries is nearby for tasty Fish and Chips! What's not to love!!

I am always a little apprehensive when staying in...
I am always a little apprehensive when staying in accommodation that is new to me as standards do seem to vary. On this occasion however, my apprehension was unfounded as the geordie pride lodge was excellent on all levels and it will definitely be my place to stay when in the area again. There was nothing to dislike. The geordie pride lodge was clean, comfortable and with all the facilities as described with on-site parking. I have been staying in a chain hotel but didn't feel very safe and this is much better. The breakfast is fab - I don't eat a lot in the mornings but the choice is first class. I will now be staying with Sue whenever I am in Leeds
