A quiet village on the main roads from Newtown to Llandrindod Wells. There are no facilities or visitor attractions in the village but the Lion Hotel is well located for walking and trips to mid-Wales attractrions.

The hotel is situated in an idyllic Welsh setting on the valley floor with rolling hills, a stream, sheep and cattle all within view of the beer garden.
