Very clean with a rustic charm, excellent breakfasts and equally excellent pub food in the evenings. It’s aimed at the budget market so our room was compact but the electric shower was adequate and my picky wife declared the bathroom to be very hygienic. (It was a bit dated so we called it ‘retro’.) Our twin beds were comfy with a selection of pillows, and all of this plus two very friendly, helpful hosts made for a relaxed stay.

Even to the extent that on having a flat tyre on our car they managed to sort it out. although we had a tyre inflator with us it had gone wrong. They went to the trouble of telephoning their son to bring his compressor round to reinflate the tyre very early in the morning. Lovely people!johnUnited Kingdom
