Step back in time to this 1930s art deco hotel, set on its own island just off the coast. Stayed in a superb suite, very spacious with king size bed, cloakroom,spacious lounge with Nespresso machine and an endless supply of coffee. Nice extra touches included chocolates delivered each day and some fudge. Food in the Pilchard Inn was excellent, as was the dinner in the ballroom in the Saturday evening, with music from a three piece band.
Would recommend.

Hotel was very good. Location ideal for walks and local pub. Staff brilliant and breakfast was of a good standard.

Friendly staff and a great breakfast. They were very helpful in changing us to a new room when we found a broken bed in one of the outside rooms. The new new room inside the actual hotel was wonderful. The best nights sleep in years.
Set 1.2 km from Ermington and 3 km from Ivybridge, Thornham Cottage offers a garden and free WiFi. Tavistock is 38 km away. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a Full English/Irish breakfast.

The property is looks nice and clean however, the issue was hot water most of the day and evenings was not working and we have been ignored.
Internet was not working at all.
There was not central heating in the property not for cold nights to stay.
Neighbours unfriendly you feel very unwelcoming there.
