Arrival and check-in was seamless. Very nice room, large and comfortable. I had dinner in the bar and the prices were reasonable and the food was good. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also good. Great location for walkers on the Ridgeway and for visiting The White Horse at Uffington and Waylands Smithy.

Beautiful views from Room 3 windows and fabulous Full English Breakfast. The only thing we didn't like were the pillows (much too soft for us) but the owners are buying new ones soon, so we'd definitely stay there again in future.

It's a pub set in beautiful countryside with wonderful views and hardly another building in sight. It's set in a quiet village on a very quiet road yet is only 10 or 15 minutes from Swindon town. The staff were very amenable and helpful in every way. The breakfasts were excellent.

Longcot is a tiny village with around 500 people who live there. It is very quiet and has nothing bar 1 pub/restaurant.
That is what we like.
It is ideally located for other days out - but, if you want peace and quiet and long lazy walks this is excellent.
