Luton once had an important role in hat-making, an industry which has given its name to the Hat Factory performing arts venue. The town’s huge carnival is based in leafy Wardown Park, home of Luton Museum and Art Gallery.
Local crafts from yesteryear are displayed in the discovery centre at Stockwood Park. Also here is one of the golf courses surrounding the town, and just east is a spa and swimming pool at the Luton Hoo country house hotel. Another golf course borders the Dunstable Downs to the west, and a third is by Whipsnade Zoo, the largest in the UK.
Luton shopping options include The Mall (previously the Arndale Centre), and the nearby station offers direct trains to London St Pancras. Available restaurants cover everything from Indian to Caribbean and Malaysian.

It is absolutely crap.
It is absolutely crap. I arrived there at around 12.30 pm, to be told that the room I had pre-booked through booking.com was not available!
According to the reception staff the hotel's computer had overbooked the rooms. Not good for a single woman arriving at the hotel after a long flight to Luton to find that the room I expected had been used for someone else. It was extremely inconvenient and upsetting, I was very tired. I will never book a Holiday Inn hotel again or use booking.com.

Airport was under construction and our driver was not able...
Airport was under construction and our driver was not able to drive up to the terminal so we had to walk 15-20 minutes to meet him at the long term parking lot. Buses were running 24/7, but did not seem to know about the bus stop right outside of our hotel for pickup or drop off. Security had me do the 360 scanner with several others despite having nothing in my pockets. An agent told me to keep my watch on and that was the only thing that could have set off the sensor. Another agent told others not to lean on the wall / initial sensor as it gives a false positive. Probably why so many of us were tagged for the additional screening. Not sure if the lady was an employee of EasyJet or Luton, but a rude lady was trying to get us to pay for our carry-ons to put in the overhead bins. We had no issues with putting our bags under our seats on the flight to Luton or on the return flight, but was told repeatedly we would need to pay for 3 of our 5 bags. We demonstrated repeatedly that they fit. Also not sure if it was EasyJet or Luton, but our 6:05am flight did not depart the terminal until 6:20am and after several stop, wait, go's along the way finally finished taxiing and was in the air at 7:16am.

There was a lot of litter on the car park, i.e. blue paper towels
Would’ve liked the airport, shuttle bus to stop outside the hotel as my wife is disabled. Unfortunately we had to walk quite a distance to the bus stop

There is only single and big problem, at Luton airport nobody knows where can I have bus ticket, even the guys living in Luton said they don't know. I spent half an hour to ask ( even checking the automat machines) and learn for having the bus ticket. After asking tens of people I learnt that you have it in the bus by credit card. How come no body knows and how come there is no information at any where.

I was visiting London, not Luton, so I took the Dart and then the train to Kings Cross. This is extremely easy to do, even for those unfamiliar with travel. On the return journey, the shops at the airport were excellent, service was friendly and efficient. Staying in the Courtyard Marriott before the morning return journey was a good idea, strongly recommend it
Everything! I am surprised by the low rating. King William is a countryside pub close to Luton Airport with locals that enjoy celebrations/karaoke, historical architecture, excellent accommodations, super comfy bed, and friendly Pub Staff. Kevin from Trinidad & Tobago was super helpful & boasts a “mean” Sunday Roast, so go pay him & the staff a visit 🙌🔆.
Stylish hotel, staff friendly, good room facilities with aircon, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Comfortable bed, excellent rainforest shower. Well placed close to town railway station and bus interchange. Near town centre, direct bus to airport terminal easier than railway & Dart link.
To be fair, we were only there less than 10 hours as were needed to catch an early flight from Luton the next day.
Hence, an in-depth review isn't easy to give.
We'd definitely stay there again, but only for the same reason.
Taxis to the airport were cheaper than expected.
Property was close to airport and good value for money. Room was clean and good communication from owner, easy self check in. If you’re going to the airport make sure to download circle cars Luton, it is cheap drop off to airport compared to other taxi companies.
Good location close to the airport. It was clean although outdated a bit (i.e., carpet was worn out and the bathroom was a bit outdated); however, not a bother since the purpose of the hotel is to stay for one night and then get to the airport or go home.
Excellent location for early morning travel to Luton Airport. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean big bathroom, everything you need. I will stay there again. (This hotel is good for transit only, not for a week's holiday in London)
We chose this hotel due to its proximity to Luton Airport and for its relatively cheap price and it was perfect for that. The staff are lovely and the restaurant is exceptional with freshly cooked Italian food - highly recommended.
Very convenient location and very clean would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a convenient and pleasant stay before travelling from Luton airport
The room was decent, if a little dated and on the cheap side. Not too far from Luton airport via bus, but would have been a long walk especially with luggage.
