Very peaceful location, it was nice to enjoy a glass of wine in the courtyard. Milk, coffee, tea etc was provided, which was a lovely touch. Sam was very responsive and gave lots of information about the local eateries.
I would recommend The Old Three Pigeons pub. Roughly, a 20 min walk and well worth a visit. Best food I've had in a long time.

We really liked the location of the property - it was a really peaceful stay and it gave us time to switch off from the world. We loved the VHS player too. There are a great selection of facilities and the host, Jenny, is wonderful and couldn't do enough to help us have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Thank you Jenny 🙂

The shepherd hut is stunning. Interior is beautiful and the facilities all high quality. Bits in the fridge were really helpful and welcomed.
Took advantage of the sunshine in the front garden with the garden furniture.
Pub at the campsite literally a minutes walk and staff there so friendly.
Communication was exceptional and felt so welcome. Will definitely come back xx

A beautiful, fully equipped cottage right next to a river, which has fishing rights. To wake up to the sound of birds is lovely. A great place for countryside and river walks. Shropshire is a stunning county with plenty of tourist attractions within a 30 minute drive.

The place had a very bad flea infestation and we were severely bitten. The carpet was covered in dog hairs ,badly soiled and full of fleas and both beds had a number of fleas in them.
I have photographic evidence of a lot of them running over my wife’s ankle and this was witnessed by Mrs. Bareham herself.
Unfortunately we brought the fleas home with us and have to have our house fumigated
I had to see my doctor who gave me antibiotics , hydrocortisone cream and anti histamine tablets.

A lovely village with friendly local’s on hand to point you in the right direction . Always had people stopping me chatting with the dog . Melverley can be approached from off the Main road , takes around 10 minutes however you are met by a private , gated entrance to the property which makes it secluded .
