Beautiful hotel! Rooms spotless, beds actually comfortable, even my daughter's camp bed! Loved the bathroom with the stand-alone bath; powerful shower too. Just strange that out room had no window, just a remote-controlled skylight with blind. The restaurant was beautiful also, as was the food. We were even offered at complimentary drink each! Breakfast was also of a high standard and plenty to choose from; all table service. Overall, we had a fantastic stay in this little "Mecca" in the middle of nowhere! Thank you to all! Would definitely recommend.

Nothing Reason for stay to visit horse show at Chatsworth . Show cancelled night before visit . Management refused to refund or rearrange visit . No use me visiting Bakewell as I have an injury to my foot making me unable to walk . We had hired a mobility scooter from the show to allow me to visit .
