We didn’t stay for breakfast because we needed an early start but they did offer to provide an early breakfast by we had made prior arrangements to meet my son in Doncaster for brunch 😀

Such a lovely old historic place, we really enjoyed it. Other guests were noisy however this isn’t the fault of Bassa Villa but guests with less respect for others. The only thing was- I did book & pay for the room with the river view which we didn’t get and I should have mentioned it. However my man was happy in the end as I think the room we should have had may be one of the haunted rooms :-) it may be worth mentioning the Percy House Tearoom upon arrival for guests to grab a breakfast as we wished we would have known this information at the start of the stay. It doesn’t stand out as we walked past it many times. Other than this our stay was thoroughly enjoyed x the room was warm, shower was hot, very cosy
