This former 16th-century boutique coaching inn is set in the scenic market town of Bridport.

Room and dinner. Also it was important to be dog-friendly. The staff are excellent and friendly. The location is great. The breakfasts have a great choice. All in all we had a very pleasant stay. Well done to all.

Traditional British breakfast well cooked with many options and choice available. Excellent restaurant for an evening meal should you require it with a wide choice of food available including fresh local sea fish. We used the restaurant twice and had faultless meals fairly priced. Great variety on the specials board as well.

The Ollerod, hotel in Netherbury

The Ollerod is set in the heart of beautiful Beaminster and surrounded by stunning countryside.

Breakfast and evening meal were lovely. They had a few ‘building’ problems, such as door lock not working, blinds broken, coffee machine not working quite correctly. Room was a little cold, but worked out ok for the second night.i

tiger inn, hotel in Netherbury

Tiger inn is located in Bridport, 3 km from West Bay East Beach and 7.9 km from Golden Cap. With free WiFi, this 4-star inn has a garden and a bar. The inn features family rooms.

Excellent local inn with very welcoming staff. The Tiger is primarily a local pub in an excellent location just off the Main Street but at the end of a dead end so virtually no vehicular traffic passes the door. Only a small en suite room with a comfortable bed looking out onto a rear courtyard - room 6. Excellent breakfast laid up downstairs with an interesting choice of dishes. Not the Ritz but for us preferable and wish we had been able to become locals and enjoy the selection of beers available in the bar. A real local pub that Bridport should,d be proud of.

The location was very close to the harbour and the beach, we really liked this. English breakfast and cereals, toast and jam. Very generous portions. The bed was really comfortable! I normally get pain in my hip on most mattresses, but not on this one. Are small doggy was welcoe. The owners and staff are all very happy and cheerful.

A good base for visiting both coastal and inland attractions, all within an hour's drive....... Forde Abbey & Gardens, Lyme Regis, Abbotsbury Swannery, Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door. Recommend the food at The Clock pub at Chideock, and The Hare & Hounds at Netherbury (just 5 minutes drive from Oxbridge Farm). Chard reservoir (disused) is a lovely quiet spot for relaxing, overlooking the water and a nice 2 mile walk around.

    I’ve already done a review with booking.com

I’ve already done a review with booking.com Farmhouse was excellent as was the room & the food. Loved the country lanes & views also. The only thing not so good about the room was that the bathroom door had to be banged for it to shut, waking my partner up in the night & there was no lock on the door either. Also the blind next to the toilet didn’t close fully, therefore if anyone walked past at the wrong time they could see you on the toilet ! as I saw them !
