Dalecote Barn Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Newby

Dalecote Barn Bed & Breakfast is offering accommodation in Weathercote. The guest house also provides free WiFi and free private parking.

Stayed here with a friend for 2 nights to complete the Y3P. Perfect location. Room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The host made us a packed lunch on the morning of our stay rather than breakfast as we were up and out so early. Amazing cooked breakfast 2nd morning. We ate twice at the Marton Arms pub highly recommend. Cabs were expensive ! All in all a great stay and lambs everywhere , so cute. Would stay again if walking in the area.

Moor View, hotel in Newby

Moor View is located in Ingleton, in the heart of The Three Peaks area of The Yorkshire Dales with stunning countryside views.

I couldn’t fault a thing. A real home from home experience- the room was bright, warm and comfortable. We had stayed due to completing the three peaks challenge, our lovely hosts made us a packed breakfast to take with us and had it ready for our early start (5:30am!). The cooked breakfast the next morning was delicious, with lots of choices available. I would definitely stay again and recommend this spot to friends and family.

Very small and quiet village. We stayed in a great cottage.

Very small and quiet village. We stayed in a great cottage. Wonderfull hiking trials in the area. A lot of the trials are dogfriendly. Cave expeditions are good to do and fun. Settle has a very good supermarket nearby. We recommend the Yorkshire Dairy Farm for great cheeses and marvelous staff that can advice you and have a story about every cheese you try.

We had a brilliant 3 night stay at the cottage, so peaceful!

We had a brilliant 3 night stay at the cottage, so peaceful! A really comfortable place to relax in, with great walks from the doorstep and the villages of Clapham and Ingleton in either direction and worth exploring. We had a delicious meal after a big walk in the New Inn at Clapham, and would thoroughly recommend visiting the Ingleborough Cave - which is on the route up to the top of Ingleborough.

It’s a rural small village so don’t expect lots of shops.

It’s a rural small village so don’t expect lots of shops. Great pub food and helpful people. Ideal if you love walking. As lots of green fields and sheep and hills. The Ingleton Falls walk was glorious but hard going. 4.5 miles and very uneven in places with lots of steep steps so not for the feint hearted. Take water or a drink, good shoes and perhaps a swim costume and towel as there is a place to go in the water although we didn’t. Also the white scar caves were stunning. A little too crowded when groups were passing in tight places even with wearing masks but on the whole really enjoyed it. Visit the Country Store, fab food, great service and a lovely selection of food and gifts. Every where we ate was good. Morecambe is only 35 min drive away as is Wensleydale which is a nice old village worth a visit...as well as the cheese factory.
