It was very dog friendly. I was a bit stressed as we were travelling for the first time with our new puppy but we were made very welcome. We also arrived late on our first night and they kindly waited for us even after reception was closed. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and full of character and charm. We had a very nice young lady Yulia, serving us at breakfast and she also provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely stay!

Location was perfect for what we wanted and the accommodation was clean and comfortable.
Although we didn't meet the hosts, they ensured everything was explained.

Gorgeous farmhouse B&B with friendly attentive host.
Location a little surprising, in that the distance down a somewhat isolated track had us guessing for a while if we had taken a wrong turning, but well worth the journey.
Our hosts provided us with a homemade sandwiches, and cake tea in the evening, delicious and very welcome as was the breakfast. Thank you.

A really spacious place which was clean, tidy and very well kept and had everything needed to enjoy a few nights away. The hot tub was the cleanest we have seen and the views from the hot tub were a beautiful addition. Dog friendly and a bottle of fizz gifted was a lovely surprise

Pretty village several good pubs and a really good Micropub. the amazing Cragside House only a mile and a half outside the village. N.T. over 40 miles of walks on the estate and 6 mile carriage walk which you can drive round. Queens Head served a good meal on Saturday night. Closed for meals after 6 p.m. on Sunday. Rothbury is only about 12 miles from Alnwick, an attractive market town with a castle used in Harry Potter films.

Small town with lots of quirky shops, three pubs, a wine bar and good cafe and bakeries.
Lots of interesting things to see and do mainly connected with Lord Armstrong who was an engineer and armament supplier in the Great War. The town has erected the Armstrong cross on the green in front of the church and pub in his honour
A visit to Cragside is a must!!!

Rothbury is quite a pleasant small town with adequate facilities. The nearby National Trust property - Cragside - is a real asset. Distances to other sites in Northumberland are generally manageable. Examples are Alnwick, Otterburn, Bamburgh, Wooller and Morpeth.
La Mensa is a lively and enjoyable Italian restaurant and The Turk's Head offers good pub food.
Very comfortable and stylish property. A great place to stay in Rothbury and convenient for many gems in Northumberland places to visit, Cragside is very close, Wooler, Kielder, Holy Isalnd, Berwick and Alnwick are easy to reach, and wel worth an excursion.
Will definitely be returning, folks are very friendly. I took my e-bike and enjoyed cycling around the local area
Lou and Shaun were incredible hosts and the place was incredibly surprising - a wonderful Northumberland farm experience and the biggest B&B room we have stayed in. There is so much history to the place and a visit to Cragside is a must do to complement the Cragend farm experience. Can not rate this place or the hosts highly enough.
The Hideaway was a perfect space to relax and get comfortable after long days exploring the area, with great modern comforts, styling and amenities. Close to Rothbury centre for easy access to pubs, restaurants, and takeaways but just far enough away to have a peaceful and relaxing night as well. Will definitely be visiting again.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location just a short walk into town the hosts were friendly and welcoming even tho they are in the middle of a renovation. Breakfast was delicious nothing was too much trouble we will definitely be returning this time I’ll remember to take some treats for Dave their gorgeous little sausage dog
The hotel is in a good position in the town and bed was comfortable.
Rothbury is a very pretty small town with good riverside walks. Cragside is only a short drive away and well worth the admission fee.
Coast is only 45 minutes drive away and beautiful on a sunny day. Alnwick is an interesting lace to explore.
Great staff at this hotel. Easy check in. Room was comfortable with huge bathroom. Old building, so expect slopes and creaks. Very spotless room and well appointed.
Breakfast was great and service was brilliant.
Lucky to get parking out front, but seemed to be plenty around town.
Country house with marvellous views over the market town of Rothbury and the the hills beyond. High quality rooms and en-suite facilities. Excellent breakfast with a range of interesting choices, including superb porridge. Welcoming but discreet hosts. A highly recommended hotel.
room was lovely. evening meal (sausage and mash) was excellent, as was breakfst. one of us is vegetarian and their veg sausages were very good. The place was dog friendly too, and dogs were able to accompany owners to breakfast, quite unusual. THe area is just gorgeous.
This site of mainly privately owned homes is fairly small but absolutely immaculate, I have never seen a better maintained site.
Rothbury is a very attractive large village/small town with good facilities.
The property is in a great location for visiting many areas around Northumberland. The apartment itself was beautiful and in a really convenient spot in Rothbury. It was super clean and comfortable.
Great location for exploring the local countryside, sits above Rothbury with lovely views across to Simonsbath. A short walk to the pubs & restaurants in town. A very tranquil location.
