Possibly the best B&B experience we have ever had. The boutique style is gorgeous, the attention to detail and the decor is stunning and it was so clean! The hosts are so welcoming! The bed unbelievably comfy and we had everything we needed and more. The hosts were helpful with recommendations. Our breakfast was delicious and there were lots of homely little touches like homemade preserves! I would recommend this stay, infact i already have to friends! Thank you Tony & Alex! We had a lovely stay and wished we had more time to make it longer.

The staff are friendly and the pub is totally dog friendly, the location is great and the food was lovely. I love that they accept dogs in the rooms and the bar and restaurant. The walks in the forest of Dean are close and fantastic. The rooms are great (although a bit too hot for me) they have everything you need and are done out very well. I would highly recommend this pub for a stay and food.

The town is an architectural delight and the whole character of the area struck me as having a less commercialised atmosphere or purpose than the much visited Cotswolds just across the Severn. I should certainly welcome the opportunity to explore the hinterland at a leisurely pace.
