The property has a real charm about it , as the furnishings are beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite had a really great shower. Every kind of toiletry is provided and the owners were extremely helpful - even going out of their way to phone us to see if we would require dinner as we were held up at the airport and had got lost!. Thanks to them and their directions we arrived safely at the property. The breakfast was delicious and varied for every taste. We would definitely return.
Over 200 years old and Grade II listed for its historical architecture, this luxury Georgian hotel is in glorious surroundings with views over the River Tweed.

We managed to book not long before we arrived and we chose it because of the late check in. It was great that the pub was able to accommodate us at such short notice. The staff were really helpful. The breakfast was really good.

The Gables is set in 2 acres of gardens outside Duddo, surrounded by the Cheviot Hills. This family-run bed and breakfast is housed in a charming Victorian villa, once a vicarage.

A dedicated and welcoming space for weary cyclists, (so perfect for users of the fantastic National Cycle Network) and fellow travellers. Quietly located and slightly secluded which made the arrival a lovely discovery. Bikes-as-signs a handy landmark on roadside. Location on border adds an appeal. The Tweed is beautiful here and the many trees and meadows. Useful paths for walks and jogs before breakfast. The castle casts its own spell. Utterly peaceful. Village well kept. Hope riverside path gets repaired soon (as one section closed presently). Ate at Mason's Arms which was friendly and decent. And we included a nip down to Honey Farm which was fascinating. Liked the calm, relative to the bustle of (lovely) Berwick.

Beautiful old church to look around, open every day.
Beautiful old church to look around, open every day. It also has it's own ruined castle. Norham is very handy for Berwick, Seahouses and Holy Island. Village very quiet but has a couple of good pubs, perfect for eating. Locals very friendly and you soon get chatting. Norham is very flat for walking.

Small village, picturesque but not chocolate box.
Small village, picturesque but not chocolate box. Enjoyed a walk along the riverbank and towards the castle. Village noticeboards showed a lively village life and one board gave historical information. Certainly worth revisiting.

Traditional cosy country inn with up to date beautiful rooms. Delicious meals. Great well stocked bar with some cask ales. Recommend for a couple of nights in a quiet rural setting with Berwick along the road and not too far from the stunning north Northumberland coast . Easy to get to by car.
Lovely clean cottage in walking distance to the River Tweed and Norham castle ruins. Scotland was in eyeshot with a brief walk to the river. Norham is very quiet with a nice pub and historic church. A great place to get away from urban life. On cold nights the cottage was cozy with wood fire and well appointed kitchen for meal preparation. Dog friendly which meant all family members could be accommodated. Proximity to the wonders of the border country was very good and beautiful terrain surrounded and nearby seascapes.
Welcoming, very friendly staff. Fantastic rooms and facilities, including secure bike storage. Breakfast was amazing. Exceptional value for money. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We couldn't believe our luck in finding Norham Bike Yard. We had a 90 mile bike ride to do after our stay and we were gifted some home made rocky road to take away with us. If you want somewhere to stay for an adventure in Northumberland, visit Norham Bike Yard.
Visited Norham for my Cousin's 60th Birthday and several of us booked in at the Mason's arms.
Room not huge but big enough for two. ensuite facilities good, well decorated, beds soft but not everyone likes a soft bed.
Tea making facilities in the room.
Breakfast included in the price and excellent, lots of cereals and full range of cooked food. plenty of tea/coffee, juice.
Staff are excellent.
Will certainly stay again if in the area.
Everything about Norham bike yard. Jim and Mary Rose are very welcoming and very nice people. Rooms are very clean comfy beds very powerful shower. Carnt do enough for you. Had a really good 3night stay. Nice lounge area to sit in for breakfast or just chilling. Great base for motorcycle routes. Secure parking for bikes. 1sr class hosts. Highly recommend for anyone. As everyone here has been made welcome
Sheila and Sandy are wonderful attentive hosts , always ready to offer tips on where to visit. Breakfast is brilliant with so many options to choose from and so plentiful it kept us going all day.
Norham is a great village with its own ruined castle and lots of history. It’s also a great base from which to explore the area.
The breakfast was great, we really enjoyed it. The location was fantastic, Norham is a lovely village, and we were lucky to be there when they were celebrating 900 years of Norham Castle. We had a lovely walk along the River Tweed.
Good location in Norham village. Comfortable bed and very quiet location. Good WIFI in cottage connected to smart TV. Nice pub in the village for a drink and pub meals. Easy to get to the coast and nice walks from the village.
The breakfast on both days on our stay was first class, choice and quantity plenty. Sheila our landlady was a font of knowledge about Norham and district made our stay much more enjoyable.
very much a village pub/hotel.
Friendly staff and locals.
Good food and selection of beers.
Comfy bed.
Good shower.
Will use again if can obtain similar price for single occupancy.
Hotel very close to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Good location to explore the area. Had all facilities you would need. We had dinner at the restaurant at it was lovely.
