We were upgraded. Large spacious room, very comfortable bed, nice quality linen.
There's a bath in the bedroom and the room is large enough for it not to be in the way!
Quiet location in centre of town (which is really lovely). Onsite parking right outside.

I thought that for the money the hotel and especially the room was quite tired. We booked an upgrade to a suite and the unit the TV was on was stained by something, the wardrobe needed some paint and so on. Also the flush on the toilet needed some extra persuading to work.

Lovely pub with plenty of character. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms. Breakfast in room but surprisingly good and satisfying. We didn't have a meal in the pub, but the menu and food looked very good. Walking distance to Winchester central and cathedral. Parking on local street with free parking permit.

This is an absolute gem of a property. It is smack in the middle of the city, and is beautifully and tastefully refurbished. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, it is such a wonderful find. The owners are super helpful and really quick to respond to any requests or questions. The kitchen is so well stocked and the bathroom was stunning. Thank you for making it such a memorable stay.
