Very cheerful welcome, lovely lady behind the bar who was coping with a lot of orders and kept a smile going. Longish wait for supper which we knew was likely but the wait was so worthwhile as the food was delicious. M had the lamb rump and it was cooked to perfection.
Very clean rooms and comfortable beds, some.road noise but manageable. All in all a great one night stop over with amazing staff.

What a great find! Great location and lovely and quirky. Powerful shower, good towels and comfy beds. Staff friendly. Pub does food too but we didn't sample this time. Continental breakfast simple but ok.
