Adequate, only stayed one night, noisy road but comfy enough for the price
This small boutique hotel located in the centre of Bath, just around the corner from the iconic Pulteney Bridge, The Roseate Villa Bath is set within its own gardens and has a private car parking.
Orchardleigh Estate provides endless activities, including countryside walks, an 18 hole golf course, horse riding and fishing (by prior arrangement), to name but a few.

A small picturesque village, the parish church is well worth a visit across the field from the rear of the George Inn. There are plenty of country walks in the vicinity and historic places such as Bath and Wells are within easy reach.

Ten Inn was great , not so keen on the Plaine , but the whole ambiance in the Inn was exactly how we expected it to be , the outside area was stunning, food okay but could be better. Staff lovely , not a lot in the village apart from
The Inn and Fleur de Lys . It’s easy to get around by car to bath and Frome

I loved it.
I loved it. It was like going back in time to the 14th century. Everything was so authentic and gave a real feeling of living in those times. Our bedroom was large with two windows and views across the fields to the church and hills in the distance. The only criticism was the bathroom was very small and having to duck when coming out or suffer a bang on the head, but I realise they were much shorter in those days and they certainly didn't have bathrooms! We enjoyed dinner in the pub on the first night of our stay and a lovely breakfast the two mornings we were there. The staff were lovely and very helpful and happy creating a good atmosphere.
We used the park and ride into Bath and enjoyed a full day going to the Thermae Baths for the afternoon, which is a brilliant experience, a long walk round Bath to the Royal Crescent and an evening meals in the Crystal Palace pub near the Abbey. All in all a lovely short break which I would recommend to anyone who has an interest in history .

Lovely quiet area with beautiful countryside walks.
Lovely quiet area with beautiful countryside walks. Local pub’s overlooking the green and church with outstanding views also there is a coop in the village. Only a 20 min drive into Bath. Beautiful cottages in an idyllic setting. Loved the area and hope to return one day.

Small quaint village, 2 pubs within walking distance but up hill, and coming back you will need a torch as there are no street lights. There is a coop and a lovely farm/cafe shop, but this is a 5 min drive away. The farm shop is down a windy country road but well worth a visit and it has Electric car charging too.

Small village with nice open space but not much in the way of shops (1) etc. Perfect for a quiet stay and just 7 miles from the city of Bath. This can be reached by a good bus service.
Favourite is the George where we stayed and ate. An amazing historic hotel with loads of character and a feeling of time warp back to the 14th C,

room was small but had wonderful features, exposed beams, antique furniture, loved that the bed was blocked on one side to make it level on the sloping floor, windows were original and had a second set to help keep out draughts. Bar and lounge were also full of original features, beautiful building full of history. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful as was evening meal. Lovely place to stay for those of us who love old buildings with a real feel but also have the hotel facilities
The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. It is a charming old building with a lot of character. The breakfasts were good and we ate there one evening and the food was excellent. We parked at the hotel no problem one day and then over the road at their other car park when it was full another time.
The staff were so welcoming and friendly.
The historical ambience of the hotel was amazing.
Our room was spacious and gracious and beautifully decorated.
Both dinner and breakfast were very good and, for me, the choice of delicious vegetarian options was unusual and very welcome.
All food excellent. Menu had some interesting choices. Good chef. Good quality. Historic building. Room at the back of the hotel. Twin room just what we wanted. Spacious & airy. Comfortable beds. Appreciated fresh milk for tea/coffee & bottled water.
Staff very friendly.
Fantastic and historic hotel with loads of character. Room to match.
Breakfast was excellent, dinner very good but!
Staff excellent and very friendly, especially the lady from Italy.
