Staff friendly and accommodating
The golf course was well maintained
Styled like a French chateau, this historical manor is 1.5 miles from Ascot Racecourse. It has a relaxing spa with swimming pool and gym, and boasts an AA Rosette-rated restaurant.
With free parking, The Bridge Hotel in Chertsey has wonderful views of the river and out beyond historic Chertsey Bridge. The Bridge Hotel is set over 3 floors and has lift access to the rooms.

Big, comfortable, and very clean room and shower. Excellent establishment, you walk in, and you understand how well maintained and looked after it is straight away. Private parking was a plus.
The staff were very professional, the food was great. The location is excellent, on the river, next to a few little walk/hike pathways.
We had a great experience.
Situated near Windsor on the banks of the River Thames, The Runnymede on Thames offers spacious en suite rooms, a spa and restaurant. Private boat hire is available from the hotel.

I liked the spa was a nice size and the rooms where lovely and clean and friendly staff
With a beautiful, peaceful location on the banks of the River Thames, this charming hotel faces out onto Church Square in the old historic village of Shepperton.
A luxurious spa with a roof of fragrant herbs, an excellent gourmet restaurant, and an equestrian centre are offered at this stunning, 5-star country house.
Very nice. Beds comfortable. Bathroom big and good if a little tiered. Hot water tap too hot. Bathrobes worn and not soft.
Spa facilities great , especially outside heated pools. Staff excellent. Bit if a pain having to go outside to the facilities from the room ( in the cold and rain).
Restaurants ok, but not great choice of food and a bit disappointing.

Excellent facilities for families, couples or those just wanting to spend a relaxing few days. It has superb golf and tennis facilities, excellent spa with two pools and an outdoor hot tub and sauna. Friendly and helpful staff and great facilities for children, both indoor and outdoor. There is a lovely woodland walk/trim trail which is great for a leisurely stroll and the three restaurants gives plenty variety of food choices. Foxhills is located in its own extensive grounds in the Surrey Hills, is excellent, while not too far from the M25.

The bed was comfortable. The room was too hot.
The bed was comfortable. The room was too hot. Only one door opened onto the terrace and we would have liked to open both.
the carpet was frayed and room looked tired. Restaurant too dark and gloomy. Just got the feeling that the bar staff were not fully trained, very slow service and also got the feeling that members were given priority treatment. Problems booking health spa, so gave up.

Very friendly staff, lovely room although bathroom sink fittings looked a little worn. Great outdoor pool right by our room which we loved.
Stunning setting
Dinner menu needed more choices.
Digital menus annoying.
Cocktail list needed details of ingredients
Overall we had a lovely stay.

The majority of the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional particularly the Receptionists, the bar and the golf shop.
Breakfast has good choices and the menu in XIX is varied and enjoyable.
We have stayed at Foxhills a few times now and have always enjoyed everything. However we have noticed a few changes in standards this stay. For example the dinner choices in the Fox restaurant are few and the quality of the meals were variable- 1 of our starters was inedible.
Our room was lovely- spacious and clean and well equipped however some things needed attention such as the reading light which was very overheated and dangerous to touch, half the frenchdoor did not open and the shower lost its pressure at times.
Most disappointing was not being able to re-enter our room at 11:05am on our departure date. We had a 10am breakfast slot but breakfast service was slow and we returned to our room at 11:05 to collect our bags and could not get in. I would have thought a 15min leaway might be acceptable in view of the last breakfast booking being 1030.
Despite how busy Foxhills is, it always feels calm and relaxing.

Good facilities, lovely rooms, very cosy.
Good facilities, lovely rooms, very cosy.
Helpful, friendly but professional staff.
Sunday carvery and buffet good, but not as special in presentation, variety and quality as it was at the time we frequented Foxhills, but then the current price does not equate to what would be charged for the previous, very high standard.
The premises and facilities are out of this world. From the moment you enter the establishment you feel luxury and exceptional service.
The best for us was the outdoor pools and children playground, soft play and crèche (at a cost but we didn’t mind as the service was exceptional)
The room was exceptionally big, nothing compared to other similar hotels we stayed in the area
It really felt relaxing, having breakfast in bed was the cherry on the top
Spa is amazing, a lot of things to do on the complex so no chance to get bored!
Room was super clean and spacious and had nice toiletries and an amazing view over the golf course.
Access to the hotel is by car from Woking, so for us was a 10min car ride with a local taxi from the train station.
Breakfast is nice and a lot of choice, lunch/ dinner in bar XIX was great and all staff super friendly. All in all, a great stay!
The bedrooms are huge and the beds are so comfy. The bathroom is also large and spacious. It is fully equipped. The breakfast was lovely too. We had a great game of golf! Plenty of golf courses to choose from. Lots of places to sit and sip cold delicious wine. Spa, pools, golfing, driving range... the list goes on. This hotel certainly offers the full package!
Staff friendly and helpful, food in the bar cafe was good, the food at Fox's restaurant was excellent, the room was lovely and large, the hotel was beautifully decorated with original features and interesting artworks, complimentary wine and sweet treat left in room for my Birthday.
The suite was very clean and our meal at the hotel restaurant very enjoyable. My partner and I made use of the health spa pool and outdoor facilities, trim trail and bar located outside by the golf courses.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
