Breakfast was good and the members of staff were most helpful. Our dog particularly enjoyed being made a fuss of and spending time in the safety of the doggy paddock playing with us and another dog.

If you would like a break away from everything, have just...

If you would like a break away from everything, have just peace and quiet with less interruptions including internet, then this is an ideal spot to stay!! It is comfortable, clean and the views spectacular. We loved the opportunity of finding somewhere so special to get away from it all. If you want to spend somewhere constantly looking at your mobile phone, rather than taking in the breath-taking scenery, the feeling of farm-life and being interested in nature at it's best, then it might not appeal to you. The internet was a bit hit and miss due to the rural location, but for us it was perfect and getting away from work and phones! We also loved seeing the farm dogs and chickens. Whilst rural, it is also very easy to find local shops, takeaways, etc, and to venture out on day trips (COVID permitting) by car. We visited Cardiff and Newport and food shopped at Cwmbran which was approx only a mile away. There is also a fabulous "fish and chip" award winning shop there, and also lots of other eateries/take-away places and supermarkets within easy reach. We would definitely like to return to this location again in the future and to stay at Glebe Farm Cottage. Thank you for having us! Suz, Lee & Family x
