The room was beautifully fitted out and very comfortable with everything you could need including fresh milk and a cafetiere and ground coffee to make proper coffee. The breakfast was lovely too - very generous with quality ingredients.
We recommend this for an overnight stay. It was perfect as a stop on our way back home.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel is very tired and in major need of an overhaul to the rooms. It's incredibly expensive for the standard that it is. The location made it worthwhile at least.

The harbour was an attractive place to visit with many businesses there to serve visitors whilst Poole Park was well worth the visit.

It’s a lovely location.
It’s a lovely location. Lots of really nice places to eat out and plenty of good shops. We didn’t venture too far away, but I would definitely recommend a trip to Brownsea Island. We also visited Sandbanks, Wareham and Corfe Castle, all very close by.

We looked around the harbour and went on a boat trip of the harm=bour and sandbanks which was very interesting. We were due to go the the speedway but this was cancelled due to the weather which was disappointing but the speedway was really easy to find and there looked like there would be ample parking. We also spent time in Bournemouth.
We ate at the Quay café where we had breakfast it was fab

Lovely resort, lots to see and do.
Lovely resort, lots to see and do. Harbour boat trip was well worth it as was to Jurassic Coast cruise. Lots of varied mealtime opportunities as well as the usual fish and chips. Plenty of traditional pubs on offer. I highly recommend a visit to the RNLI college and All Weather Lifeboat Centre where all the lifeboats are made, you can even stay there.

Excellent location for either staying within the area or travelling to interesting places within Dorset. Great local facilities within a short walk for dining, recreation and shopping. Would recommend El Rancho and Da Vinci for food and perhaps the Poole Arms for a quiet, friendly drink. The Jurassic Coast boat trip is one not to be missed with its visit round Old Harry Rocks to Swanage. Buses provide a great service but there are plenty of parking areas available. A day trip to Kingston Lacey (National Trust) was exceptional.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't our friend so we didn't see much of Poole. We did drive 15 mins to Durley Chine where we parked for walk into Bournemouth. We also took a trip to Hengisbury Head (25 min drive).
I expect a "boutique" hotel to offer something a litle special.
Clearly, Covid has been a struggle for 2 years and you can do little about access through an old building. The carpets are looking very tired in places; the paintwork, though practical, makes progress through the narrow passageways uninviting and the lack of directions to "Reception" on leaving the room took us to the fire exit.
Due to my wife’s terminal cancer we,Went for an apartment rather than a hotel room This was the right decision it was warm and comfortable and my wife felt at home it’s a pity the weather wasn’t better. I would thoroughly recommend the apartments to anybody in my family I am going to a wedding next year in POOLE and the apartments will be my first choice to stay.
the hotel was in a great location with fantastic views. The staff were very friendly snd made us feel welcome, it was easy to get a drink/snack etc and the restaurants within the hotel were exceptional. Breakfast was also fabulous and cooked fresh with plenty of options. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend.
We got a really warm welcome from the hosts and were made to feel at home immediately. The attention to detail in the accommodation was as good as I've seen in some top 5 star hotels. Very comfortable accommodation and perfect if you are going to spend a dew days in the Poole area. There is a private parking spot for your car.
We had a very friendly welcome, our rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious and our breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. The location of the hotel was right by the quay with beautiful views. Everyone at the hotel was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely return when next in Poole.
The staff were very friendly, in particular Thea who served us breakfast. The lady at the reception desk was also helpful when listening to our concerns about our room. The location was great for going to the beach and visiting Poole, Bournemouth and Sandbanks. Food at the hotel was delicious.
This was the second time I stayed at Poole Park House and the ease of access, the cleanliness and comfort and quality of the room, tea and coffee facilities, the provision of free snacks, easy parking and above all the value for money make this a first choice for staying in Poole.
RNLI college situated close to everything you need to do or see in Poole. Hotel itself is a part of RNLI and watch different types of lifeboats and people who’s saving lives daily was truly amazing. Hotel also offer couple of tours around facilities.
The location is stunning, we booked sea view, with balcony which is the best rooms to have at this location. Room & bed both large & comfortable. Easy access to Swanage, Bournemouth & Poole. The food at the hotel is excellent if a little limited
Brilliant location to walk to wayside bars and restaurants and to Poole park.
Good size comfortable room with bath and (easy to use) shower.
Great breakfast - fresh fruit and fry up
Very clean hotel...nice and functional without a lot of frills...the room was small but efficient...Very close to the Ferry departure point for trips to Guernsey etc.
Room was nice and tidy, the hotel was quiet and the location a few minutes walk to Poole Quay. On the whole and excellent night away for my wife and myself.
