Everything was perfect. This is an exceptionally beautiful house in a charming rural location with railway station (Nailsea and Backwell) in fairly easy reach.

Portishead marina is beautiful, such a lovely walk around with bars, cafes and shops. We enjoyed watching the boats in the locks. Within walking distance to the town where we enjoyed an evening meal and craft beers at The port bar, and also great food at The Impero Lounge.

I haven't visited for many years, so it was great to see what has been achieved. Love the Marina area, so good to see the regeneration of the area as a whole A great destination for an overnight stay, or longer to tour the area. Nice walks from the marina out to Battery Rocks Lighthouse, there is an open air lido, lake, nature reserve, good views across to Wales, what is not to like. Good choice of eateries and bars also. So very pleasantly surprised and it is great to see the area looks to be thriving, and lots of well planned housing in place too.

We really enjoyed the Marina and walks around the Marina and town. We visited a few pubs and found the locals all friendly and accommodating, the Guy at The Old Mill (live music Friday/Saturday nights) was happy to show us around and explain what has happened over time to the mill, he also told us to visit The Watermill Inn before we drove home and we found this a beautiful place for walks and views, we will return to try the food!

we were visiting family in Portishead and this property was perfectly located for us to walk back in the evening from their place. It was much nicer than having a hotel room. I only wish we were there longer to enjoy the property. It was very comfortable & had everything we needed & an amazing view. The hosts left us tea, coffee, milk and some breakfast items. We hope to use this property again next time we visit

I live in western Canada and was attending a family wedding here. I did not have the use of a vehicle during my stay and the local taxis are not amenable to taking short trips around the town. The small city I live in is not too much bigger than Portishead (Camrose AB), there the taxis have a fixed charge for anywhere in town. The Town Licensing authority might look at that.

The area is lovely, the developers are doing a marvellous job around the marina. There are places to walk , places to eat and drink and Supermarkets . We ate inWeather Spoons which is great value for money as it was mid week it was not crowded.
Portishead is a small busy town lots of shops and places to have a coffee. We loved it.
Host met us on arrival and handed over keys. they asked if we had visited the area before, which we had, but they also made some suggestions on eating out and shopping close by the apartment.
The venue was clean and tidy and had a lovely outlook, with juliet balcony overlooking trees and a walk way
Bathroom was of a good size with a large bath and overhead shower, both of which had good supply of hot water
The apartment is very close to Portishead harbour, which we made the most of whilst out walking
I had a really nice stay at this hotel, thank you! Great central location in Portishead, and friendly staff. I was really pleased that the property provided hand soap in a refillable container as this saves on single-use plastics. Perhaps you could extend this to shower gel too instead of the small one-use shower gel bottles. This would vastly reduce plastic waste.
Excellent location 2 minutes walk to Marina, lots of places to visit from Portishead, walks from the marina along the side of the estuary, choice of restaurants . The apartment was well equipped had everything you needed, the bed was really comfortable, best sleep I had for a while. Parking space outside, a friendly greet at the accommodation to collect the key
We were en route to Cornwall so this was a night stop. 10 mins from the motorway. Easy to find & we picked up a takeaway in Portishead. Nice to be able to sit and eat at a table and it is a very well equipped apartment. It's a decent size and you could easily stay self catering for multiple nights. Big bedroom and great views. Very clean. Lovely owner.
Lovely spacious ground floor apartment ( all as advertised ) close to the Marina and Portishead Centre. Would definitely recommend staying here and we plan to return as Portishead is such a nice place to visit. We were met on arrival by Jenny to hand over the keys, she was very pleasant and helpful.
It was a really great central location. Lovely view from the room. Convenient for the shops, getting into the city and walking along the marina.
It also isn't too far from the centre by car.
For the price, it wasn't bad. Not the best by a long way, but what can you expect!
was visiting my 94 year old mum in Portishead and this apartment was close to her location.
I have rented other properties locally but this one was totally superior. great location, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, extremely quiet......simply perfect
Visiting family living in area so great location in Portishead, very near the lovely marina.
Great, prompt communication with host via Whats App.
Good facilities, comfortable and spacious
Slept 3 fine with one on a comfortable sofa bed.
Very welcoming and friendly hosts, great location at the top of Portishead. Plenty of parking, lovely house with nice garden area. Room was a good size, comfy bed and all the basics you'd need to cook. Bathrooms were very clean and tidy.
Cosy apartment, well equipped and convenient location. I was travelling on business and it was a welcome change from staying in “faceless” hotels. Jill, who greeted me couldn’t have been more friendly and responsive to any questions.
Welcoming staff and conveniently situated in middle of Portishead High Street. Funky 1960s wallpaper maybe not to everyone's choice. Shower and toilet were very clean and towels. Tea making facilities.in room.
The location was great for the high street, marina, a walk to the sea, food shops. I didn't need the car. The appartment and situation were so quiet, with the canal behind but very close to amenities.
Location good, room clean. ,it is a budget hotel and quite adequate for a one night stay. There are several eating places close by and is close to the marina.
