Very old pub in the centre of town. Well furnished and comfortable room and good restaurant for an evening meal. A great breakfast. Lovely beach a short walk away.

The food in the restaurant was good. The grounds are pretty and the location is great for getting out around Northumberland. The swimming pool was nice too. It was nice that they put chocolates in the room and a plate saying happy birthday.
