Within easy reach of some really nice places to visit, We went to Fairy Glen fabulous walk and beautiful place. Also went on Lancashire canal cruise, we did the afternoon tea which was lovely, would definitely go again. Lots to do and see in the immediate area and convenient for travelling further afield to other nearby places of interest. The Rufford Arms was an excellent place both to stay and to eat. Don't miss Rufford Old Hall and the narrowboat marina on the canal.

The gaggle of misogynistic men that propped up the bar since teatime that you had to squeeze past to enter the pub. I was so embarrassed that my young son had to listen to their sexist language whilst with me. The smell of cannabis was overwhelming and the staff, with the exception of the lady at breakfast, weren’t particularly helpful or friendly.
Great sized room but the lock on the door was difficult to open.
The area was beautiful and we could have stayed longer and gone walking. The hotel room was quiet even though there were a lot of people staying. The room was very nice and clean. We enjoyed a drink when we arrived and the man in charge was very helpful and friendly. The meal in the evening was good and very reasonably priced as were the drinks. The breakfast was great all freshly cooked and no buffet style . The staff in the evening and at breakfast were professional but friendly and efficient.
I love this hotel, staff can't do enough for you, so friendly and warming. The food is great, the room is warm and comfortable. They have things like poker nights and quiz nights through the week. I found the energy in the area and the grounds amazing. I'll be back next week.
Breakfast was good . Our room was on the ground floor right opposite reception , next to the main road and to the entrance to the hotel so was quite noisy hence did not sleep well . It was well equipped and a reasonable size . Staff were friendly and helpful
This is a basic hotel that provides great value for money and is super clean and tidy- cheap rooms normally come with a cleanliness tab but this is fantastic. Decent breakfast also and really friendly staff 👍
Pub is decent also
Excellent cuisine for both breakfast and evening meal.
All staff were also superb - courteous and professional.
Room was spotless as was the whole hotel.
Will certainly visit again.
Have stayed previously when then and this time we were attending a family Christening. Hotel clean snd staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food was typical pub grub and tasty
Very comfortable hotel in a quiet, rural location. It was perfect for what we wanted. The room was modern and very clean. The food very good. Staff friendly.
Good location for our purpose. Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable hotel with excellent restaurant that was well worth the visit. Highly recommended!
