Absolutely everything was just perfect. Will definitely be visiting The Townhouse hotel again. Rooms were fantastic, beds were really comfortable with lovely white ironed linen. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was amazing. Breakfast was cooked to order, which was really yummy. Top 10 marks to the Townhouse hotel and staff.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty choice of porridge, cereals, yoghurts, delicious bowls of freshly prepared fruits, and pastries.
The room was very comfortable and warm; great shower and very clean.
We were visiting family in the area; however on previous visits we cycled in the area, and walked on and over the beautiful Eildon Hills, to Melrose.

Quiet village with easy access to St Cuthbert’s Way and other walks/hikes. Short drive to Jedburgh with it’s magnificent Abbey and Mary Queen of Scot’s’ House. Many other historical monuments of interest in the area.

What a lovely place!
What a lovely place! The only down-side was the busy A68 that runs through it. At peak times the traffic is constant and allowed to go 40 mph through it, why ????? The speed limits in some parts of Scotland are illogical, who decides??

Best time to go is not on bank holidays as most establishments are closed except the really big shopping parks, restaurants & pubs some public areas too but not all.Saint Boswell has great road connections for the rest of the area like Berwick on Tweed just 20 mins from St.Boswell just brill.
From the moment we arrived we felt extremely welcomed by Billy, Cat, Amy and Rory. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our trip. The breakfast was nice (we loved the eggs benedict) and the hotel lobby and bar are lovely. We have never felt such incredible hospitality and would return in a heartbeat if we were to visit Scotland again. Thanks everyone for a fantastic stay!
Millie the girl who looked after us at this hotel was magnificent. We were attending a concert in nearby Kelso and accommodation was limited so ended up here. Millie was our receptionist, waitress in the bar and ran the breakfast room the next morning. They were obviously short staffed and she coped with a full hotel practically on her with a cheery smile and a lovely manner.
A really lovely flat in saint Boswells, immaculately presented. The hosts were great and answered any questions I had leading up to the booking, and also provided clear instructions on how to get into the flat. You can really tell the hosts care about the property, putting out breakfast things so you dont need to worry about that when you arrive.
Friendly hotel, staff lovely could not do enough for you. Central for the area we love. The meal we had was lovely, recommend anyone to stay,, breakfast good choices to start your day
Dog-friendly, comfortable hotel, in a good area for exploring the Border area. Members of staff were helpful
and welcoming, and treated guests with respect.
