Superb location for walks - Mineral Valleys' Project Walk and the Wear Way Walk - two you can do from Saint Johns Chapel. However, great location for extensive walking. :-) Delightful cafe - The Chatterbox Cafe. Delicious food. Two pubs - both had good reviews. Co-op. A couple of craft shops.
