The hotel and rstaurant were lovely, all the staff were very nice, freindly and welcoming. The hotel and restaurant were spotlessly clean. The bedrooms had good quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. They had original paintings on the walls by a loval artist. The menu was fantastic as were the meals. Good quality locally sourced seafood, vegetables and meat. The chef is very talented. I can't fault anything, very highly recommended. Can't wait to go back. Thank you everyone,
John.

Cottage was brilliant. Clean, comfortable and the sun porch was great. My wife just wanted to spend our time out there. Would come back again and recommend to anyone. Just sorry we missed meeting Shevaun. She was busy and so were we with delays and problems with the ferry, but good communication.

The location was very convenient and attractive, being on the sea-shore in a very pretty place. The accommodation was very spacious and generous, being the whole self-contained upper floor of a recently built house. The staff (Teresa and Malcolm) were very attentive and welcoming. The breakfasts were exactly to our preferences and promptly delivered each day.

It's right at the bottom of Orkney mainland but, with a car, everywhere is accessible. It's walking distance from the Pentland ferry connecting Orkney to the Scottish mainland. There are decent facilities with a shop and a pub. It's just a really nice place that feels safe. The houses and the streets had Christmas trees and lights up to make it feel really festive. A good place to make a base.

Gorgeous little village in a sheltered part of beautiful Orkney. So much to do and see in Orkney, especially if you like history and wildlife, wish we had longer. Wonderful unique shops and places to eat in Kirkwall and Stromness
